SonyLIV has dropped the teaser of its upcoming original series ‘Faadu: A Love Story’ and this one’s an intense yet heartwarming love saga. Helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, ‘Faadu: A Love Story’ is her first web series and will stream soon only on SonyLIV.
The teaser launched for ‘Faadu: A Love Story’ begins with Abhay (Pavail Gulati) narrating the prevalent societal situation where the ones who know how to read the world are the ones who get rich easily. For others who believe formal education is the key to become wealthy often get caught up in some sort of vicious cycle where they don’t even realise being in it.
What follows is Abhay’s tale of how he met the love of his life in college and how they carved their love story despite having different ideologies about ambition and love. Abhay will not stop at anything and nothing can shake Manjiri but theirs is a love story cursed by desire.
The teaser has that intense romantic feel to it where it’s not just about that dreamy honeymoon phase of a relationship but also about what follows when the differences in ideologies about serious issues in life occur.
A SonyLIV original ’Faadu: A Love Story’ is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, written by Saumya Joshi with music from Santhosh Narayanan. The web series stars am ensemble cast including Pavail Gulati, Saiyami Kher, Abhilash Thapliyal, Hiren Rathod, Kunj Anand, Manini Chadha, Shishir Sharma and Rakesh Chaturvedi.
‘Faadu: A Love Story’ is produced by Samir Khurana and Indranil Chakraborty and the production company behind the series is StudioNEXT. ‘Faadu: A Love Story’ will start streaming soon only on SonyLIV.
