Many users of SonyLiv have complained about a disturbance in the official website of the platform.
It has happened quite a number of times that whenever someone is clicking to watch the UCL game going on right now it opens directly to KBC. A frustrated user has tweeted about being in a hurry and wanting to watch a match between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City but always ending up opening KBC.
This is not the first time there has been such a problem with SonyLiv. Subscribers have always complained about many similar difficulties in watching shows that they want.
A user has pointed out the bug in a coded form and the platform has now been fixed. Their opinion is that those sports shows have a very low frame rate and so there may be some difficulties in showing them sometimes. UCL does not have a craze like IPL in India and it has a very selected audience. SonyLive does not have a huge subscriber base in India either. They are failing to deliver proper service to this small number too. On the other hand we have seen Disney+Hotstar perfectly handling sports shows with huge fanbases. Disney+Hotstar has a huge subscriber base in India but it has never shown any such discrepancy. This is something that SonyLiv should learn from Hotstar.
Users are paying money to watch shows that they like but they are not getting their desired results. This will affect the platform itself negatively in the long run.

I have @JioFibre subscription with OTT. It's been a long @SonyLIV is not working. It's a real problem. Sometime it worked by deleting cache, deleting data, uninstalling the app from phone, STB reset. I need to perform multiple permutation and combination.@SonyLIV@reliancejio
