SonyLIV is currently riding high on the success of their biographical crime drama Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, a show which has excelled in every department and is the talking topic of the nation. SonyLiv is looking for nothing but success since their renovation, from then they have come up with movies and shows that are different from each other and not even in the same genre. With the audience getting weary of the similar content from every other OTT platforms, SonyLiv is bringing out shows of various genres which have kept the audience entertained.
Now SonyLIV has released a short teaser for their upcoming psychological thriller drama film which has been titled “Welcome Home“. The teaser opens up with a warning which indicates that “the movie is not for people below 18 years and if you do not approve of violence then this movie is not for you”.
The teaser follows a pregnant woman who opens up the door to her house to some women. The officials enter into the house and ask the woman that if she is pregnant for the first time. The woman shrugs, and the officials ask that if there are more kids, the woman shrugs. And then she continues by saying that “the babies always die, they come out, cry a little and die”. The teaser ends there.
Seeing in detail, we can see that the pregnant woman bore some scratch marks in her hands, possibly from a case of domestic violence. The movie from the teaser seems like a film that will be based on the topic of domestic violence. According to reports the movie will follow two ladies who are trapped in a house with residents being immoral and violent.
The movie seems like a necessary topic to follow among the tough times, the teaser as well looks very intriguing and the special warning regarding “fainted hearted people to stay away from this”, gives chilling vibes as well.
