Amazon Prime Video has ordered an English remake of a popular movie that came out last year. ‘Culpa Mia’ is a Spanish romantic film directed by Domingo González.
The UK remake is titled ‘My Fault: London’ and it will be retelling the story of Nick and Noah with a new set of actors. ‘Culpa Mia’ told the story of a girl named Noah who had to be estranged from her friends, boyfriend and town and go to live with her mother. Her mother has married a very rich man named William. In the William’s mansion, Noah meets Nick, her stepbrother. Nick is apparently the perfect human being, but Noah soon discovers that Nick hides some dark secrets under the veil of perfection.
Culpa Mia is based on the Culpables trilogy written by Mercedes Ron. There are high chances that the other two books in the trilogy ‘Culpa Tuya’ and ‘Culpa Nuestra’ will get their separate films as well. The new movie will be directed by Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler and the screenplay has been written by Melissa Osborne. The role of Nick and Noah will be played by Matthew Broone and Asha Banks. There will be other actors like Jason Flemyng, Enva Lewis, Eve Macklin, Ray Fearon etc.
The shooting of the film has been wrapped but there is no update on the release date of the movie.
