Not to be outdone, OTT platforms are going all out to woo digital viewers with a delightful bonanza of much-awaited film releases this Dussehra. A social drama, a historical and mythological thriller, a psychological thriller, among others – there’s something for everyone!

1. Karthikeya 2 – ZEE5
Karthikeya 2 is a thriller and action adventure film, steeped in mythology. The film stars Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. Nikhil Siddhartha plays an archaeologist Dr Karthikeya, on a search for Lord Krishna’s lost anklet which is equipped with solutions to problems faced by humans in Kali Yugam. Karthikeya 2 is written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, and produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and People Media Factory.
2. Raksha Bandhan – ZEE5
‘Raksha Bandhan‘ is a comedy and social drama, directed by Aanand L. Rai. The film stars Akshay Kumar as the brother of five sisters, and his struggles to get them married. Raksha Bandhan also stars Bhumi Pednekar, along with Abhinay Raj Singh, Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth.
3. Eesho – SonyLIV, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
‘Eesho‘ is a psychological thriller that stars Jayasurya, Namitha Pramod, Jaffar Idukki, Suresh Krishna, Johny Antony, Indrans, among others. The film is directed by Nadirshah. Jayasurya plays a stranger in town, who terrorises the elderly guard of a bank ATM with his mysterious behaviour. The film brims with murders, mystery and thrill.
4. Gaalipata 2 – ZEE5
Gaalipata 2 is a rom-com in the Kannada language. It is written and directed by Yogaraj Bhat, and is a sequel to the 2008 Kannada film, Gaalipata. Starring Ganesh, Anant Nag, Diganth, Pawan Kumar, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Samyuktha Menon and Sharmiela Mandre.
5. Uniki – Aha Video
Uniki is a Telugu action and crime drama. The film is directed by Rajkumar Bobby. Uniki stars Ashish Gandhi, Darbha Appaji Ambarisha, TNR, Chitra Shukla, among others. Chitra Shukla plays an IAS officer who strives to bring justice for farmers and the poor, but not before facing dangerous hurdles.
6. Darja – Aha Video
Darja is a Telugu action and revenge drama, directed by Saleem Malik. It stars Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil, Aksa Khan, Sammu, Satyanarayana Raju, Shakalaka Shankar, Sudha, Surya, among others.
