‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ Official Trailer Is Out and We Can’t Wait!

Fans have been waiting with bated breaths since quite some time now, for official content from Spider-Man: Across The Spider-verse, sequel to the blockbuster animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to drop. And finally, it did. The much awaited first trailer of the film dropped and it’s everything one would expect from a much anticipated biggie. The movie is set to hit the theatres on June 2, 2023.

The official social media accounts of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse posted the trailer some time ago and its popping colours and how.

In the film, Miles Morales’ journey is expected to continue, picking up from the tails of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The trailer shows him all grown up. The official synopsis of the film reads: ‘After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.’

In the new trailer, much like its predecessor, there is so much of poppy visuals and mind-blowing action. Very much looking like a ready winner, Spider-Man : Across the Spider-Verse also brings The iconic air-floating inverse-camera shot of Miles besides computer animated and hand drawn imagery.

The sequel of the 2018 blockbuster will see Spider-Man reteaming with Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) and a fresh team of Spider-People to take down a powerful villain and protect the multi-verse. Jointly directed by Justin K Thompson, Joaquim Dos Santos and Kemp Powers, the screenplay is penned by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and David Callaham. Besides Shameik Moore’s Miles, the voice cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Vélez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whingham and Oscar Isaac. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse releases worldwide on June 2nd, 2023.
