Seven small films have been released in Telugu today (August 6th). Out of these films, SR Kalyanamandapam has got a decent buzz thanks to a couple of appealing songs and a decent trailer cut. Meanwhile, Aha Video, the Regional Telugu Exclusive OTT Platform has bagged the digital rights of the movie.
Sources say that the movie may arrive on Aha Video in less than four weeks of its release. That means we may see the film in early September. The movie talk is not up to the mark and so, we may even see it earlier on the platform. Going by the trends, the audience in both the Telugu states are still not eager to come to the theaters and so, Aha Video will still be at an advantage screening the film.
SR Kalyanamandapam stars Kiran Abbavaram who earlier starred in a small film, Raja Vaaru Rani Garu in the lead role. The movie is also a big hit on the OTT. Priyanka Jawalkar is the heroine. The actress has also appeared in Satyadev’s Thimmarusu which was released last week in theaters. She may be the only actress in Telugu to have two releases in theaters after the second wave.
