Young Hero Sharwanand‘s recent release, Sreekaram is gearing up for its Digital Premiere on April 16th. Sreekaram will be premiered on Sun Nxt app. It will be the second notable Telugu film released that day after Thellavarithe Guruvaram on Aha Video, the Regional Telugu Exclusive OTT platform.
Sreekaram is a film that stresses the importance of youth taking up agriculture. The movie has got decent talk but failed to make an impression on the audience in theaters. But it has all chances to impress the OTT audience wherein the audience will be relatively lenient about going too harsh while watching a film in the comfort of their homes.
It is interesting to note that Sun Nxt has been sharing the digital rights of its films with Netflix. It has happened recently with Ram’s Red as well. Red arrived on Sun Nxt and Netflix on the same day. It has to be seen if it happens with Sreekaram as well.
Directed by a newcomer Kishor B, Sreekaram has Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead. It has a strong supporting cast with big names from the Telugu film industry like Rao Ramesh and Sai Kumar. Mickey J Meyer has composed music for the film which was predominantly shot in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
