‘Srikanth’, the inspiring biopic of industrialised Srikanth Bolla (acted by Raj Kumar Rao), who was visually impaired from birth, will hit theatres this May.
Do you know who was Srikanth Bolla? If not, then here is the answer.
Srikanth Bolla was a visually impaired industrialist born in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He was a meritorious student, but due to his blindness since birth, he encountered numerous obstacles and faced adversity from birth because of his visual impairment. He was the first visually impaired international student at the world’s no 1 University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2012, Srikanth founded Bollant Industries, a company that produces areca-based products and creates job opportunities for hundreds of individuals with disabilities. Bollant manufactures eco-friendly recycled Kraft paper from municipal waste and packaging items from recycled paper.
However, its earlier title was “SRI”; the movie ‘Srikanth’ is all set to release on 10 May 2024. It will be an exciting watch in the theatres, with all motivation and inspiration.
