Superstar Mahesh Babu‘s next with Trivikram Srinivas, #SSMB28 is announced earlier this month. The duo earlier teamed up for two films – Athadu and Khaleja. Keeping aside their commercial result, both the films were often termed as classics in Telugu Cinema. Both the movie still gets superb ratings whenever they telecast on Television even after many years of their release. The movie scenes are still garner Lakhs of Views on Youtube.
So this is a combination that will excite the OTT players a lot. Such films will help any OTT platform initially as well as in the long run. We are told that a couple of OTT platforms already reached the makers – Haarika and Hassinee Creations to bag the Digital Rights of the movie. But then, the producers do not want to hurry into closing the business.
#SSMB28 will go on floors after Mahesh Babu completes the shooting of his Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The makers have announced that they are planning to release the movie in Summer 2022. Thaman is composing the music for this film. Rumors are that Pooja Hegde will be the female lead. Pooja Hegde and Thaman were also a part of Trivikram’s earlier blockbuster, Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo as well. The movie is likely to have its launch on the 31st of this month.
