Amazon Prime Video has dropped the trailer of the much awaited ‘The Wilds’ season 2 and this time it gets more mysterious. ‘The Wilds’ season 2 consists of eight episodes that will all premiere globally only on Amazon Prime Video on 6th May, 2022.
The trailer offers a glimpse into what’s up with the girls in the second season and how the stakes are higher for them this time. While still trapped on the mysterious island they not only find out that they are part of a some weird experiment but also that they aren’t the only ones there!
As per Prime Video, in season two of ‘The Wilds’, survival hangs in the balance for the group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island, after the explosive discovery that what’s happening to them is an elaborate social experiment. This season ups the drama and keeps you guessing, with the introduction of more test subjects—another island of teenage boys—who must also fight for survival under the watchful eye of the experiment’s puppet master.
Sophia Ali, Shannon Berry, Jenna Clause, Reign Edwards, Mia Healey, Helena Howard, Erana James and Sarah Pidgeon will return to reprise their roles in ‘The Wilds’ season row. They will be joined by Zack Calderon, Aidan Laprete, Nicholas Coombe, Charles Alexander, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Reed Shannon, Tanner Ray Rook and Alex Fitzalan.
Sarah Streicher has created and executive produced ‘The Wilds’ alongside showrunner and executive producer Amy Harris. The late Jamie Tarses of FanFare, and Dylan Clark of Dylan Clark Productions also serve as executive producers. The series is co-produced by Amazon Studios and ABC Signature, part of Disney Television Studios.
‘The Wilds’ season 2 will launch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on 6th May, 2022.
