“Jyeshthoputro”, a movie straight out of the Bengali film industry is a work of art. The movie released back on 26th April 2019. Not only did the movie do well, the story it portrayed received critical acclaims from everyone everywhere. Viewers have even went on to give the movie a 5 star rating because the movie, the acting and story was so perfectly put that this cannot receive rating lower than the highest number.
Directed by Kaushik Ganguly and starring some of the finest actors from the industry like Prosenjit Chatterjee and Ritwick Chakraborty in the lead, the movie is an all time favourite for everyone who has watched it. Now the news is that the movie is going to be remade into Hindi and the director Kaushik Ganguly himself is onboard in creating this masterpiece once again.
Though there have been no confirmations as to who will play the roles, but Ganguly has mentioned that he would like to bring two great personalities from Bollywood together for the movie and these two great personalities are none other than Pankaj Tripathi and Nawazuddin Siddique. Though none of them has yet confirmed or said anything about the news, we dearly hope that this comes true. If so, this will be their first ever project together.
Jyeshthoputro, a family drama tells the story of a family and the brothers of that very family. After the demise of the father, the eldest son finally comes home and so begins the family’s journey of confrontations and reconciliations. Though one will not find great actions in the movie but the dialogues that are exchanged among the characters and the conversations which they are a part of will move and shake anyone who watches, to the core. This will definitely be a great story and movie to bring these two powerhouses together.
