2020 seems to have been quite the year for Sushmita Sen as her debut web series ‘Aarya’ received rave reviews, and fans worldwide absolutely adored her. It’s now confirmed that Renee, another star kid, and daughter of Sushmita Sen, has also joined the cinematic universe and marks her debut with a film titled Suttabaazi, which is most likely slated to release directly on a digital platform.
Suttabaazi, which also marks the first film of director Kabeer Khurana, is set to portray the struggles of a mother and a daughter who live in a conservative household.
Sushmita Sen shared light that Renee has always wanted to be an Actress, and it has been clear in her mind since a very young age. Renee is known to love the camera already, and the only condition that Sushmita Sen had put in front of her is that she needs to get a degree just like everybody else so that she can fall back upon something.
With Renee, we see the foray of another star kind into this industry. While her mother may have been a much-desired female lead in films of the past, the industry can be unforgiving, and with all the recent uproar against nepotism, we have to see how the audience will react to yet another star kid getting her break at such a tender age.
Let us see if Renee lives up to the hype of being a ‘Sen’ and whether she will be able to navigate her way through what can be a sometimes unforgiving and brutal sector.
