Star Wars Animated Saga to Continue On Disney+

With the adventurous and ambitious ‘Disney+’ streaming service that launched in 2019, it expanded its horizon with shows and movies from Disney franchises, including Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar. It also acquired Fox Studios, Hotstar in India.

With upcoming shows such as ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ and ’Loki’, they have green lit a new LucasFilm animated series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”, to debut in 2021.

The series will follow the clones of Bad Batch who were introduced in ‘The Clone Wars’ as they find a way to post the Clone Wars. The Bad Batch squad is unique from the Clone Army but they possess skills which make them extraordinary and give them strength to fight against dangerous missions in the new chapter.

Dave Filoni (Clone Wars, The Mandalorian) will return for ‘Bad Batch’ as EP with Athena Portillo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Brad Rau (Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance) and Jennifer Corbett (Star Wars Resistance, NCIS) with Carrie Beck (The Mandalorian, Star Wars Rebels) as co-executive producer and Josh Rimes as producer (Star Wars Resistance).

We cannot wait to see more adventurous stories from Disney+.
