It has been announced in the SWCE or the Star Wars Celebrations Europe that the Star Wars animated series ‘The Bad Batch‘ has been renewed for a third season. The third season will be the final season of the show.
The first season of ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ premiered on the 4th of May in 2021 and continued for 16 episodes. The second season came out this year only. The show was ordered by Disney+ as a spin-of of another animated Star Wars show, The Clone Wars in 2020. Dee Beadley Baker and Michelle Ang voice the characters from The Clone Wars in the show.
The show tells the story of Clone Force 99, who are more famously known as the ‘Bad Batch’ and their dangerous mercenary missions across the universe. The warriors have genetic mutations that allow them to be stronger than usual and they were first introduced in The Clone Wars. The Bad Batch is able to resist the influence of Order 66 are still independent and they become fugitives where Admiral Tarkin wants to wipe out all clones.
Apart from The Bad Batch, many other announcements were made. Shows like Ahsoka, Acolyte, Skeleton Crew were announced and Andor, Mandalorian are going to have new seasons soon. Of all the shows, ‘Ahsoka’ is definitely the most popular one and the most hyped show. But The Bad Batch has is separate audience and is anticipated by the fans.
The first two seasons of ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ are streaming on Disney+ and Disney+Hotstar and very soon there will be the third and final season as well. So it is a great time to watch the show if you haven’t watched it so far.
