It is safe to say that the stars have aligned for the all new TV series ‘Constellation.’ Apple TV has released the trailer for this American psychological thriller TV series today. The sci-fi series features an internationally famed cast, including Noomi Rapace (from the ‘Millenium’ series), Jonathan Banks (from ‘Breaking Bad’), James D’Arcy (from ‘Agent Carter’), William Catlett, and Barbara Sukowa.
Directed by Michelle MacLaren, Oliver Hirschbiegel, and Joseph Cedar, and produced by Turbine Studios and Haut et Court TV, ‘Constellation’ is scheduled to be released on February 21, 2024 only on Apple TV+, with its first three episodes. The first two episodes are directed by MacLaren, who later partners with Rebecca Hobbs and Jahan Lopes for MacLaren Entertainment.
Seems like the space adventure in ‘Constellation’ is not all stars and comets. Rapace, who stars as Jo, is an astronaut who returns from a disaster in space only to stumble upon one on Earth: she finds crucial moments of her life mysteriously absent.
The series, created and written by Peter Harness (known for ‘Doctor Who’), inculcates elements of human psychology as Jo goes on a desperate quest to retain all that she had lost in space and time. The series was principally shot in Germany. It is said that the new episodes will stream on Wednesdays after February 21, 2024. Buckle up, sci-fi lovers, 4 more weeks and you are all set to watch this ‘action-packed space adventure cum psychology’ thriller series.
