Zee5 has released the trailer of its upcoming original film ‘State Of Siege: Temple Attack’. The action thriller film, based on the attack on the Akshardham Temple in Gujarat in 2002 is the second such project in the ‘State of Siege’ franchise. The first one was a series based on the 26/11 Mumbai attack.
The trailer begins with a group of terrorists taking control of a temple and holding hostages inside it. Their demand is the release of their man Bilal Naikoo. One of them goes on to say that whenever its assumed that they are silent they will create such an explosion that leads to new screams, new wounds and new devastations.
While the police and forces are trying to make out how many people might be trapped inside the temple, the terrorists plan to kill one person every half an hour as a show of strength. And then enters Major Hanut Singh (Akshay Khanna) who says that neither the police nor the RAF has the required experience to deal with such situations. He also insists that NSG must take charge.
Major Hanut knows that the hostage situation will get worse once Naikoo is released and that’s why he requests his senior let him to go in now rather than later. He confidently believes that since it was he and his team that captured Naikoo earlier it should be him going in.
Receiving the order, Major Hanut charges into the temple premise with his team that includes Captain Rohit Bagga (Vivek Dahiya) and Major Samar (Gautam Rode) among others. What follows is an action filled journey of these brave NSG commandos fighting it out with the terrorists and saving the hostages.
‘State of Siege: Temple Attack’ stars Akshay Khanna, Vivek Dahiya, Gautam Rode, Akshay Oberoi, Samir Soni, Shivam Bhaargava, Chandan Roy, Anushka Luhar, Harssh Singh, Abhilash Chaudhary, Dhanveer Singh, Mridul Das, Parvin Dabas and Mihir Ahuja.
