Steve Carell will now be seen in the TV adaptation of the comedy film ‘The Four Seasons’. The show will be made for Netflix and Tina Fey will be joining Steve Carell as the female lead. The two have previously worked together in the movie ‘Date Night’.
‘The Four Seasons’ came out in 1981 and was directed by Alan Alda. It told the story of Jack and Kate who go on a vacation during holidays with their friends. Suddenly they see that their friend Nick has come with his new girlfriend Ginny and is not with his wife anymore. They all try to come to terms with this new development and try to maintain their friendship.
It is a romantic comedy and we have all seen Steve Carell shine in so many romantic comedies. Carell is a comedic genius and be it in ‘The Office’, or be it in movies like ‘40 Year Old Virgin’ and ‘Crazy Stupid Love’, he has proved his mettle again and again. It will be a treat to see Tina Fey and Steve Carell together again in the adaptation of ‘The Four Seasons’.
Tina Fey is also co-creating the show along with Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield.
The show is now in post-production right now. The release date and other details of the show will be revealed pretty soon. Steve Carell will next be seen in the show ‘Space Force’ and in ‘Despicable Me 4’.
