Stranger Things S4 P1 has proved that no one is safe in the small town of Hawkins. Not even the main characters. We have watched Steve getting attacked by a swarm of bat-like creatures in the Upside Down, Max barely escaping from the hands of Vecna, the duo of Hopper and Enzo managing to light up a Demogorgon in flames, and so much more so far. But the latest Duffer Brothers creation shows that many prominent characters may meet their demise in the next and final chapter. Here are the top 5 Stranger Things characters that may lose their lives in Season 4 Part 2!
Dr Martin Brenner (portrayed by Matthew Modine)
We have watched Dr Brenner going to extreme lengths to ensure Eleven’s safety from Colonel Sullivan and the rest of his military team in the newest season. He even prepares a program to unlock El’s suppressed memories in aiding her to gain her lost powers. Does he truly love her? Or is it just his over obsession? We will find our answer in the next part. But we do know that he is ready to do whatever it takes to keep El safe from the hands of Sullivan. And he may lose his life in this process.
Dmitri ‘Enzo’ Antonov (portrayed by Tom Wlaschiha)
From Game of Thrones to Stranger Things, Wlaschiha has managed to leave his impact with his captivating work. Speaking of Stranger Things, the actor’s character of Enzo is intriguing and occasionally funny. His bond with Hopper has emerged as one of the strongest points of S4 P1. First, he tried freeing Hopper from the Kamchatka prison for monetary gain. But Yuri outsmarts him by drugging Joyce and Murray to obtain larger profits by handing them over to the Russians. He successfully torches a Demogorgon with Hopper’s help and escapes from that horrible place. We may see Enzo helping the Hawkins gang to uncover KGB’s secret plans regarding Upside Down. And he desperately wants to get back to his son Mikhail.
Eddie Munson (portrayed by Joseph Quinn)
Eddie Munson has emerged as one of the best Stranger Things characters ever! No doubt about that! His unpredictable, eccentric and a bit over-the-top behaviour has made the majority of the show’s fans fall in love with him. He is like a strange fusion of a crazy guitarist and a drama queen. Everything in his life is super awesome until the unexpected arrival of Vecna. The horrifying death of Chrissy shooks him up real good. Soon, he becomes the prime suspect in Chrissy’s death. If somehow he proves the existence of Upside Down and the creatures that reside in it, he may get vindicated. But the chances of Eddie sacrificing his life to save his friends cannot be ignored.
Henry Creel/001/Peter Ballard/Vecna (portrayed by Jamie Campbell Bower)
Words are not enough to praise Bower’s creepy yet top-notch performance in the latest Stranger Things entry. His character of Vecna has raised the bar for all the show’s main characters. Especially for Eleven. No doubt that the final showdown between her and Vecna will be epic and unforgettable. But the latter is a baddie after all. And fans can see his end coming near from miles. Just wait till July!
Steve Harrington (portrayed by Joe Keery)
From being a total douchebag to transforming into one of the show’s heartthrobs, Steve has become a crucial part of the Stranger Things family. The Duffer Brothers originally planned his death in Season 1. But thanks to his heart-winning performance, the brotherly duo kept him for future ST instalments. However, the thing that makes Steve’s death a strong possibility is his unplanned future. Yes, he had a pretty popular relationship with Nancy. Plus, he had strong feelings for Robin too. Now, his romance with Nancy has sparked again. We can also blame Jonathan for this scenario. Anyway, his love for Nancy may become the very reason for his death in Part 2 of Season 4.
