The writing process for Stranger Things Season 5 is well underway. Created by The Duffer Brothers, the sci-fi horror series is counted among Netflix’s tentpole shows. And fans cannot wait to get their hands on the upcoming season. To spice things up, the writing team has given a bonkers but crucial update about the fifth season.
The show’s scribes have shared an interesting detail about Season 5.
Season 5 is like if season 1 and 4 had a baby. And then that baby was injected with steroids.

Apart from going bigger than ever before, Season 5 will serve as the amalgamation of the first and fourth seasons.
The Duffer Brothers have previously hinted that the final season will return to the show’s origins, coming full circle.
Stranger Things has come a long way since Season 1’s release. So have the characters. The first season had a more warm and light-hearted tone with just enough pinches of horror and gore. Additionally, its storyline never got out of Hawkins. On the other hand, Season 4 opted darker and more mature tone. Plus, it reaped immense benefits from the cast’s outstanding performances, breathtaking action sequences, compelling realistic themes, and emotional weight.
Season 5 may even have long episodes like its predecessor. It will be intriguing to see how the creators handle the blend of Seasons 1 and 4 in the fifth installment. They have already confirmed that the upcoming season will focus on established characters only. It means the odds of new characters appearing in Season 5 are low.
Netflix is yet to reveal the release window of Stranger Things Season 5. Stay tuned for more updates.
