The Dutch thriller series Undercover is getting available to stream today. It is one of the most popular European series that is inspired by real-life incidents.
It is based on Undercover-Agents who infiltrate into the dark world of a drug lord. This incident actually happened in Limburg bordering the Netherlands. Two agents Bob Lemmens and Rooij played by Tom Waes and Anna Drijver respectively ooze into the world of Ferry Bouman played by Frank Lammers.
This show stole immense success thanks to the amazing performance by Frank Lammers. It was so successful that in 2021, the makers released a film called Ferry that happened to be the origin story of the drug lord.
Undercover Season 1 debuted on Netflix in 2019 and the second season in the following year. As of now, it has 20 episodes in total and the third one will also have 10.
The show is accompanied by some unsettling violent scenes that happen mostly in the space of Frank Lammers.
Other than that, the performances and the background score are really thrilling. The English audio is available for this series but that does not sound as appealing as the original one.
Regardless, it is a subjective opinion and you can easily stream in the audio of your choice.
Long story short, if you happen to like the genre of crime thriller then this series is the one you wouldn’t wanna miss.
