Exactly a month after its theatrical release, Tamil horror comedy Petromax has begun streaming online, more specifically, on Amazon Prime Video.
The hit ghost movie, starring Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, Sathyan, Kaali Venkat and TSK, among others, is a remake of the 2017 Telugu horror comedy, Anando Brahma.
A quartet of ghosts resides in an ancestral home, wreaking havoc with whoever attempts to make the abandoned property their home. However, four diverse characters in dire need of money agree to spend a few nights at the supposedly haunted house, so that the owner can prove that the house is not haunted and sell the house for a tidy sum.
What follows is laugh-out-loud comic sequences, emotional tropes, and lots more. Directed by Rohin Venkatesan and produced by Passion Studios, Petromax is a decent watch.
