Stree 2 is adding to the flavour of Independence day. We have been telling you that Stree 2 got an excellent response from the audiences and rightly so. But, a lot of times sequels don’t really live up. For instance, take the case of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. The first part was really exciting and sensational. But the second part just killed all the fun.
The movie is eyeing over 40 crore on the opening day and a weekend extended by Raksha Bandhan will really give the boost this film needs.
The best thing about Stree 2 is the way the writers handled the screenplay. The movie does not deviate from its original flavour and the writers did not let us feel the absence of Raj and DK from the writing desk.
Sarkata is an interesting character and the continuation from Stree to Sarkata is written very smoothly. Again, credits to the writers.
This is again a reminder of how important writing and direction are. Star power and weak story are not something that works in this age and it is perhaps a very positive change.
Stree 2 is made for a long success. Let’s see how far it goes.
