In a recent development ‘Succesion’ star Matthew Macfayden is the latest to join Marvel Studios’ much awaited ‘Deadpool 3’. Macfayden will join Ryan Reynolds who is returning to reprise his titular role alongside Hugh Jackman and ‘The Crown’ fame Emma Corrin.
In ‘Deadpool 3’ a weary Wolverine finds himself recovering from his injuries when he comes across a loudmouth Deadpool who has time travelled forward to heal his greatest pal in the hopes to befriend the wild beast and to team up to take down a foe they both have in common.
‘Deadpool 3’ is the third film in the ‘Deadpool’ franchise, that itself is a spin-off of the X-Men film series. This third instalment will now finally integrate Deadpool’s character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). ‘Deadpool 3’ is also the first film of the Phase Six of the MCU.
Directed by Shawn Levy, ‘Deadpool 3’ script is written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. Earlier a draft for the same was prepared by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin. ‘Deadpool 3’ is produced by Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Kevin Feige and Simon Kinberg and is scheduled to release in cinemas on 8th November, 2024.
