Succession Season 4 has premiered with a bang!
The Season 4 premiere of Jesse Armstrong’s masterpiece brought in nearly 2.3 million viewers on Sunday. This figure came out after blending Nielsen’s viewership measurement on HBO Max and linear telecasts on the network’s cable channel.
Makers should celebrate this news as Season 4 has scored 33% more viewership than the last season’s finale, which attracted approximately 1.7 million viewers in December 2021. As for its comparison with Season 3’s premiere episode, the latest instalment has performed excellently in this department, coming back with 62% more viewers.
According to HBO, Season 3 maintains an average of 7.2 million viewers per episode across all platforms.
The recent boost in Succession’s viewership comes from the series’ third instalment bagging the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series last year. Additionally, all seasons of the show have incredible ratings on prominent critic rating platforms, including Rotten Tomatoes. Furthermore, the show will conclude with Season 4.
The final season of Succession shows Kendall, Shiv, and Roman trying to gain an edge over their father after he tried selling his company right under their noses in Season 3.
Succession Season 4 stars Brian Cox, Hiam Abbass, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Jeremy Strong, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, and many more performers. All previous three seasons are available on Disney+ Hotstar. Stay tuned for more updates.
