Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming psychological horror film Run Rabbit Run. It stars Sarah Snook and Greta Scacchi in the lead roles. Mind you Sarah Snook is the same actress who plays the lead in the super popular HBO series Succession.
The movie tells the story of a fertility doctor and single mother named Sarah, played by Sarah Snook herself. Her daughter Mia, portrayed by Lily LaTorre, begins exhibiting strange and unsettling behavior. While it’s common for children to display odd behavior, Mia’s is different, as she wanders around wearing an eerie rabbit mask, while making horrifying crayon drawings, and claiming to be Sarah’s long-lost sister Alice, who went missing when she was just seven years old.
If you remember the 2020 masterpiece The Devil All The Time, then you would immediately realize that this movie matches the Tom Holland starrer in terms of eeriness. The trailer showcases Mia’s unsettling behavior and the tension that builds as Sarah tries to figure out what is happening to her daughter.
Unfortunately, Australia’s bad history with rabbits is about to get worse with the release of this movie. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on June 28, and fans of the horror genre are eagerly anticipating the release, especially after the fact that it gained a good response at the Sundance Film Festival this year.
