Regional Telugu OTT App, AHA is on a roll acquiring the rights of successful Malayalam films and is dubbing them for the Telugu audience. This has become a huge success formula for AHA as the app could manage to churn out fresh content to its audience regularly and that too at a very low cost.
The latest in the list now is Sudani from Nigeria starring Soubin Shahir and Samuel Abiola Robinson. The movie directed by Zakariya Mohammed released in 2018 and has got a good reception from the audience there. It is even conferred with the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam. The film also ruled the roost at the 2018 Kerala State Film Awards winning five awards including Best Screenplay, Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value, Best Debut Director, Best Actor (Shahir), and Best Character Actress (Savithri and Sarasa).
The movie is being dubbed into Telugu on the same name and will have its Premiere on the 30th of this month. Coming to Sudani from Nigeria Story, Majeed, a football manager, recruits three Nigerian footballers for his team. Unfortunately, one of the players – Samuel gets injured. The manager then lets him stay at his house and over time, they develop a close bond.
