After a decent theatrical run, Sudheer Babu starrer ‘Maa Nanna Superhero’ is all set for its digital premiere and surprisingly it ain’t following the usual four week window standard for Telugu films.
‘Maa Nanna Superhero’ released in cinemas on 11th October during the Dussehra holiday slot. Going by four week rule it should have come to OTT last week on 8th November. Instead the film is releasing on digital media one week later on 15th November.
While Zee5 announced the premiere today, Prime Video had unveiled it in a press release earlier this month. So, ‘Maa Nanna Superhero’ directed and co-written by Abhilash Reddy Kankara will make its way to both these platforms on the above mentioned date.
‘Maa Nanna Superhero’ received mixed reviews upon its theatrical release where Sudheer Babu and Sai Chand received praise for there performance in the heartfelt drama that balances between drama, emotions and a subtle love story. But critics found the plot to be predictable and incoherent, and could have he a better execution.
Starring Sudheer Babu, Sai Chand, Sayani Shinde and Aarna in prominent roles, ‘Maa Nanna Superhero’ is about a father’s search for his son who is looking for his foster father at the same time. In the process they embark on a soul stirring journey and solos over the real meaning of love and connection.
Produced by Sunil Balusu under the banner of V Celluloids and VR Global Media in association with CAM Entertainment, ‘Maa Nanna Superhero’ will premiere on Zee5 and Prime Video on 15th November, 2024.
