Indian streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar has just dropped the trailer for its upcoming series, “Sultan of Delhi,” set in the 1960s and directed by Milan Luthria, known for films like “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai” and “The Dirty Picture.”
This nine-episode series is an adaptation of Arnab Ray’s book “Sultan of Delhi: Ascension” and is produced by Reliance Entertainment. The cast includes Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anjumm Shharma, Vinay Pathak, and Nishant Dahiya in pivotal roles, along with Anupriya Goenka, Mouni Roy, Harleen Sethi, and Mehreen Pirzada.
“Sultan Of Delhi” revolves around the story of Arjun Bhatia, portrayed by Tahir Raj Bhasin, who is involved with Delhi’s biggest illegal arms dealer, Jagan Seth, played by Vinay Pathak. In a high-stakes power struggle, Arjun faces numerous challenges from those around him. Fueled by ambition and his aspiration to become the Sultan Of Delhi, Arjun must navigate a perilous landscape to secure victory.
The production value of the series looks really really good as lately most series that work out well are of high budget. Hotstar always brings good high-budget series on a frequent basis.
