Amidst the pandemic, many of the films which were slated for a theatrical release have taken the OTT route mostly because they were given some great offers or they simply couldn’t stall further.

Sulthan stars Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles while the project is being directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. This film also marks the Tamil debut of the actress Rashmika Mandanna and fans are excited to see her on the big screen alongside Karthi.
Sulthan is slated for a theatrical release in April 2021 and even though the makers were always backing a theatrical release, this confirmation brings about some relief for everyone whose livelihood depends on the functioning of Cinema halls.
Sulthan was rumoured to get some great offers from Disney+ Hotstar yet they did not flinch and stuck to the more traditional format. The teaser of Sulthan will be released on Monday at 5 pm as revealed by SR Prabhu on his Twitter handle.
