The teaser for the upcoming Malayalam thriller, ‘Pathaam Valavu‘ dropped on various social media platforms, a couple of hours ago. While the teaser doesn’t give anything away much of the plot, the promo gives us just enough to keep us invested. This upcoming feature film will star Indrajith Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu in a cat and noise chase. Find out more at the end of this article (AKA the teaser).
According to the trailer, Indrajith will be playing a cop on screen and his character will take a couple of his subordinates to a secluded village to apprehend a criminal who ran away during parole. From what we can see, Suraj will be playing the criminal (who is named Solomon) on the run and the entire feature film is based on true events that happened in Kerala.
Indrajith Sukumaran had dropped the first look poster for this upcoming film, ‘Pathaam Valavu’ on his various social media profiles, towards the end of 2021. The poster drop was a New Year treat, by the film producers and it was good enough to get the attention of interested South-Indian social media users. The title for the film launched a few months earlier, back in August 2021.
Besides Suraj and Indrajith, ‘Pathaam Valavu’ will also feature Ajmal Ameer, Sudheer Karamana, Sohan Seenu Lal, Major Ravi, Rajesh Sharma, Edavela Babu, Nandan Unni, Jayakrishnan, Shaju Sridhar, Nishtar Ahmed, Thushara Pillai, Ambili and Kanmani in major roles. Mumbai Movie Studios (MMS), a Bollywood production house, will be making its debut in Malayalam cinema with Dr. Zachariah Thomas, Sreejith Ramachandran, Jijo Kavanal and Prince Paul and they will co-produce the film alongside UGM Productions. While we do not have a definite release date for the film – ‘Pathaam Valavu’ is expected to release in theatres within a couple of months.
