The movie isn’t releasing theatrically but is a Zee5 original film and will see a digital launch on Zee5 in September. The movie is backed by Dr. Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Studios, making it even more special. Pen Studios is well known as the home for some of the biggest Bollywood films.
As for “Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai?”, it will be based around the viral internet photo of a note that had “Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai” written over it. The viral internet photo was the talk of the nation a few years ago, and the story of the movie is a fictionalized story of how the incident might have happened. Surbhi Jyoti is essaying the titular role of Sonam Gupta and her fans have been going crazy supporting her. Well, for starters, she definitely deserves all the love from her fans.
