Tamil star Suriya‘s 46th birthday has proved to be a source of joy and delight for his fans. Ahead of the actor’s birthday, which falls on 23rd July, Sun Pictures, producers of Suriya’s highly anticipated 40th film, tentatively called Suriya 40, have just revealed the first look teaser and title of the film. You’ll be glad to know that Suriya 40 is titled Etharkkum Thunindhavan,
and it promises to be mind-blowing!
With this film, Suriya returns to the action thriller genre, but with a twist. The first look teaser suggests that the film will be a revenge thriller or maybe a survival thriller, set in the small town backdrop. As for the first look of Etharkkum Thunindhavan, needless to say, it instantly grabs attention and holds the viewer riveted to their seats. Suriya looks intense and volcanic in the first full glimpses we get of him from the film. We’ve only seen Suriya’s look from the film in silhouettes until now.
The background music of the almost 2 minute teaser is simply fantastic. The beats are haunting and energetic – they lend a distinctly suspenseful, thrilling feel to the teaser, and leave the viewer hungry for more. The BGM of the teaser, coupled with the charismatic presence of Suriya, make Etharkkum Thunindhavan a film to watch out for.
The film is written and directed by Pandiraj and is being produced produced by Sun Pictures. The music for the movie is composed by D. Imman. The Director of Photography is acclaimed cinematographer Rathnavelu. Actress Priyanka Mohan is the female lead opposite Suriya, while Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, and Ilavarasu play pivotal roles in Etharkkum Thunindhavan.
