The first teaser of ‘Suriya 44’ is out now. The title of the movie has not been revealed now. It is written and directed by popular Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj and it will be the first time the actor and the director are working together. Pooja Hegde will be playing the female lead.
Suriya flaunts a long mustache and long hair with check shirts and a complete retro look. It looks like he will be playing a gangster in the movie. The teaser starts with the camera pointing at the backside of Suriya who is looking at the sea. Suriya turns back and gives a hard laugh at the camera.
Apart from Suriya and Pooja, there will be other actors like Jayaram, Karuna Karan and Joju George. The cinematography of the movie is handled by Shreyaas Krishna and the music is given by Santosh Narayanan.
The tagline for the film is ‘Love Laughter War’ and it might be a revenge thriller. Suriya looks pretty menacing and terrific in the teaser and he is going to have another blast with his 44th movie. His Kanguva is an anticipated movie and he will be playing a double role there. Suriya is great with double roles and he has starred in multiple movies with more than one roles. He will also have a cameo in Akshay Kumar’s upcoming ‘Sarfira’.
Subbaraj is known for making films like Jigarthanda, Petta, Jagame Thandiram and Mahaan. All of them are appreciated by critics and audiences. Hopefully, this one will not be an exception.
