Earlier today, Suriya took to his social media to announce that his next venture, temporarily titled Suriya 44, will be helmed by none other than Jigarthanda, Jigarthanda Double X fame director, Karthik Subbaraj. He is currently enjoying the success of Jigarthanda and its franchise, with the likes of Clint Eastwood also acknowledging the flicks.
Suriya is gearing up for another blockbuster collaboration with director Sudha Kongara in their upcoming project tentatively titled ‘Suriya 43’. This star-studded venture features Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Fahadh, and Vijay Varma. Titled “1965 Poorananooru,” the film draws inspiration from real-life events, focusing on a Madurai-based mobster seeking revenge amidst the anti-Hindi imposition movement spanning from 1950 to 1965. With such an intriguing premise and stellar cast, audiences can expect an enthralling cinematic experience. This year holds great promise for the industry, with Suriya’s project poised to make a significant impact.
