The eagerly awaited teaser of Kanguva has finally arrived, matching the insanely high hopes that were set by the producer of the film, KE Gnanavel. Since its inception, Raja has proclaimed it to be poised as a path-breaking moment in Indian Cinema. Touted to be a battle of epic proportions, the film is helmed by writer-director Siruthai Siva.
Having Surya and Bobby Deol on the same screen is in itself, an epic feat, and they assume the role of heads of two rival tribes, and both of them exude a menacing vibe. The teaser hints at the unending violence and death that is faced at the hands of the two of them, and the movie will include an interesting aspect of setting fights against the backdrop of the five elements of nature, which are air, water, fire, sky, and the earth. Another phenomenal addition to this already star-studded cast is Disha Patani, whose role details are yet to be clear.
According to KE Gnanavel, the movie is set to be translated into over 20 different languages, aiming to reach audiences across the globe and break any barriers involved. Kanguva clearly is an ambitious attempt into uncharted waters for Kollywood, and so far it does look like it will easily match the hype and perform even better than we viewers could dream of, and is set to hit theatres sometime this year.
