SVF Entertainment, the pioneering entertainment conglomerate in East India, has inked a strategic partnership with homegrown short video app, JOSH. The aim of the partnership is to amplify the content creation ecosystem of the Bengali language market. The partnership intends to create quality content which will in turn enable the creators of Bengal with wider reach.
The partnership was announced at a glittering event held on 25th October, at a reputed luxury hotel in Kolkata. The two content companies also launched the campaign “#JoshETumioSuperstar”, and JOSH Bangla, in the presence of media, top influencers and celebrities of Bengal. Present at the event were Vishnu Mohta, Co-Founder, Hoichoi and the Executive Director, SVF, and Sunder Venketraman, Head-Creator and Content Ecosystem, JOSH, along with Samir Vora, Chief Marketing Officer of VerSe Innovation.
The newly-minted collaboration will help discover new talents, create quality content, encourage the existing local creators with content creation capabilities, and enable these creators with wider distribution.
The partnership is a judicious fit, leveraging the two content-generating powerhouses’ potency across two major objectives – Josh bringing forth its extraordinary platform for the local creators in the Eastern Indian diaspora and SVF smoothing the way to enable the production of more regional content by the talents of Bengal.
The collaboration will help in providing them with the most advanced tools and video creating features available on the Josh app. Josh and SVF envision to take Bengali language content to newer heights by empowering regional creators with the right platform to create innovative and engaging content that strikes the right chords among the Bengali audience.
For the furtherance of this intent, SVF will extend its vast Bengali music library of SVF Music ranging from Bengali blockbuster movies, web series to superhit singles from popular artists both from India and Bangladesh. This wide range of songs from diverse genres will be accessible to the 115+ million userbase of Josh from all the corners of the country.
