Hungama Play has dropped the trailer for its upcoming Hindi original show ‘Swaanng’ and its chilling to the core. Directed by Nitesh Singh, ‘Swaanng’ will premiere on Hungama Play and partner networks on 9th March, 2022.
The trailer begins in the beautiful landscapes of Dharamshala where two orphan girls, Muskan (Anushka Sen) and Dimple, find a lost camera and consider it as a blessing from God and that they would now be able to fulfil their dreams.
It is further revealed that Manohar Pincha (Hiten Tejwani), a local academician, decides to adopt the whole orphanage. Until now it was all good but suddenly the ugly truth of the silent town of Dharamshala comes out where girls go missing mysteriously.
‘Swaanng’ is a crime thriller series where these two sisters go above and beyond their age to expose a major crime. The discovery of a lost camera leads the sisters to explore their passion for photography but unbeknownst to them, that camera also hides shocking secrets that can tear apart their idyllic town.
On the verge of finding success with ample help from Manohar and Preeti (Mansi Srivastava), an NGO worker, Muskaan’s world falls apart when Dimple disappears without a trace. Her deepest fears come true when Dimple’s disappearance is linked with the mysterious disappearance and murders of several other young girls.
Investigations led by Inspector Balram (Anurag Sharma) and news reporter, Sayan Sharma (Alan Kapoor) reveal the existence of a larger conspiracy but is Balram really a good cop or is he putting on an act for the world? Why is Sayan so interested in this case even though he is not from that town? Why does Preeti keep meeting Manohar repeatedly? And what role does Manohar play in Muskaan’s life? In this beautiful sleepy town, everyone has an ugly secret to protect and no one takes off their mask.
