Swastika Mukherjee is going to Star in another thriller series from Hoichoi. The series is named ‘Nikhoj‘ which means ‘Missing’ in Bengali. It will be releasing on the 11th of August this year.
Tota Roychowdhury will also be seen in the series opposite Swastika. He will have a role in karan Johar’s next film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Tota is having a successful run of films and shows and his new adaptation of Feluda has highly impressed fans. The two actors have previously worked together in the 2008 film ’90 Ghonta’ by Sougata Roy Burman. Hoichoi has released a poster featuring the two actors. There is no update about when the teaser or trailer will be released. Hoichoi has created a huge fan base and its thrillers are quite admired by the fans.
Swastika plays the role of DCP Brinda Basu and she will be searching for her missing daughter in the show. Tota will most probably play the husband of Brinda. He can also play some other police officer or someone helping in the investigation. There will be other actors in the series, like Paran Bandyopadhyay, Kaneenika Banerjee and more. ‘Nikhoj’ is directed by filmmaker Ayan chakroborty. He has previously directed ‘Shororipu’, ‘Shororipu 2’, ‘Judhisthir’.
It will be great to have such a team coming together for a thriller. Fans are excited for the release of Nikhoj and they hope it will be something different from the regular thrillers and the makers will try a new approach this time.
