Sweet Home, the gripping South Korean web series, has captivated audiences with its intense narrative and stellar cast, including Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, and Lee Si-young. Adapted from the immensely popular Naver webtoon by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan, the series debuted on Netflix on December 18, 2020, amassing an insanely great number of views.
The first season follows Cha Hyun-soo, portrayed by the talented Song Kang, as he grapples with a family tragedy and finds himself in an apartment plagued by monstrous creatures. Trapped inside, residents, including Lee Jin-wook’s Pyeon Sang-wook and Lee Si-young’s Seo Yi-Kyung, must navigate a perilous world infested with monsters, striving for survival.

It takes us to the world of philosophers from the 19th and 20th centuries when they held an opinion that humanity is doomed. Sweet Home Season 2 takes a similar route when we see humans as monsters and the virus as a saviour, a vaccine.
