This seems to be Taapsee Pannu’s week, month, or maybe even the entire year. Taapsee Pannu has been on the news for her string of movies that are about to release and also her last movie, which was released. Taapsee Pannu’s movie on Netflix “Haseen Dillruba” turned out to be a big hit and has been trending No. 1 on the platform. Along with everything, Taapsee Pannu on Thursday announced the launch of her very own production company, which has been named “Outsiders Films” and is ready to launch and give a breakthrough to many. Now, it is time for the production house’s first film.
Taapsee Pannu just announced the launch of her production company, and within no time she announced her first-ever movie as a producer. Titled “Blurr”, Taapsee Pannu will not only be producing the thriller film but will also star in the movie as the lead. “Blurr” has been written by Pawan Sony and Ajay Bahl and is slated to release sometime in 2022. The movie also stars Gulshan Devaiah and will be directed by Ajay Bahl, who earlier has directed movies like “BA Pass”, “Section 375” among others.
As for the movie “Blurr”, it is the official remake of the Spanish movie, “Julia’s Eyes”, directed by Guille Morales. The original movie starred Belen Rueda in the lead and it followed the story of a woman who was losing her eyesight by the minute. With losing eyesight and turning blind, she had to figure out whose presence is it around her that she constantly feels. Not only that, she has to figure out who is the person that took the life of her twin sister.
The original movie is slated as a horror/thriller and is one of the best movies released in Spain, in 2010. The movie at the moment is being remade in India, in several languages, like Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi. This movie remake also marks the third Spanish remake that Taapsee Pannu has been a part of. Taapsee Pannu’s “Badla” and upcoming “Dobaaraa” are the official adaptations of Spanish films “The Invisible Guest” and “Mirage” respectively.
The movie will be produced by Zee Studios and co-produced by Taapsee Pannu, for Outsiders Films, Vishal Rana, and Anthony Dsouza for Echelon Productions, and Pranjal Khandhdiya of Mango Purple Media Network.

As Taapsee Pannu mentioned, this will be a definite “edge of the seat” thriller for everyone. Besides this, Taapsee has an array of movies lined up like “Looop Lapeta”, “Shabaash Mithu”, “Rashmi Rocket”, “DoBaaraa” among others.
