Taapsee Pannu is the latest to join the bandwagon of actors whose movies will be releasing in 2021. Her much anticipated Looop Lapeta finally has announced the release date. Starring Tapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead, Looop Lapeta will be released on the 22nd of October, 2021, in theatres. The movie has created quite a buzz ever since it was released and quite recently, the first looks of both Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin were doing rounds in social media.
Said to be a new age drama and a comic thriller, the movie is the official adaptation of the 1998 German movie “Run Lola Run”. The movie tells the story of Taapsee’s character Savi who finds her in a complicated situation with Satya, played by Tahir Raj Bhasin. The makers have already said that the movie is going to be a rollercoaster ride and going by the posters released for the characters, which look way too hip and cool, this movie will definitely be something that will attract the younger generations.
The movie was shot in Mumbai and in Goa. Shot from November, 2020 with restrictions in the set due to the pandemic, the movie ended perfectly on time and was even completed within a very short span of time. Looop Lapeta right now is post production. The movie is directed by Aakash Bhatia and is produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Ellipsis Entertainment and Aayush Maheshwari. The makers are known to have brought movies like Neerja, 102 Not Out and others before this.
Taapsee has a bunch of movies lined up to be released this year, with Haseen Dillruba already releasing on Netflix. Rashmi Rocket, Shabaash Mithu, Woh Ladki Hai Kahan? and a Tamil movie with Vijay Sethupathi are also on the list of upcoming movies starring Taapsee that are yet to be released.
