SonyLIV has dropped the trailer for its upcoming mystery thriller series ‘Tabbar’ where all lines get blurred when it comes to family. Directed by Ajitpal Singh, ‘Tabbar’ will premiere exclusively on SonyLIV on 15th October, 2021.
Residing in the heart of rural Punjab, a retired constable lives happily with his wife and two sons, one of whom recently came back from Delhi where he was preparing for civil services to become an IPS officer. This reunion further turns into a small celebration with cake cutting when Happy, one of the son, tops in a mock test.
But all these happy moments soon take a nightmarish turn when something dreadful happens involving the Singh family. It is all somehow related to the murder of Maheep Sodhi, the younger brother of Ajit Sodhi. What follows is an intense investigation into this murder and a sequence of mysterious events taking place that keep you on the edge.
Starring an ensemble stellar cast comprising actors like Pavan Malhotra, Supriya Pathak, Gagan Arora, Paramvir Cheema, Kanwaljit Singh, and Ranvir Shorey, ‘Tabbar’ on SonyLIV is a memorable and intriguing thriller that charts the journey of a retired police constable who pushes the boundaries to save his family from the consequences of an unfortunate incident.
Created by Harman Wadala who has vo-written the show with Sandeep Jain, ‘Tabbar’, a JAR Pictures series, is directed by Ajitpal Singh and produced by Ajay Rai. Tabbar’s music is produced by Sneha Khanwalkar.
‘Tabbar’ will start streaming only on SonyLIV from 15th October, 2021 onwards.
