Celebrities everywhere, whether here in India or abroad, are doing their bit to keep public morale and mood in good spirits in the midst of lockdowns and the Coronavirus menace. Chipping in with her bit of good deed for the viewer’s benefit is Tahira Kashyap, the better half of Bollywood actor, Ayushmann Khurrana.
Tahira has launched an online series of stories on her official Instagram account, aptly titled, The Lockdown Tales. So you can guess that the series has been conceived and launched with an aim to bring some respite from the tediousness of the lockdown for people, and to cheer them up.
Introducing the series, Tahira wrote, “Storytelling has been a part of our culture and it has always fascinated me. Though we are living in tough times, let’s not let the lockdown lock our spirit. Unleashing the various characters and stories that have been brimming inside of me, I present to you this series called THE LOCKDOWN TALES. And the first story is 6 FOOT DUUR. Written and narrated by me. #TheLockdownTales. Packaged by @packuppictures.”
The stories will deal with the effects of the lockdown on people — stories that are not dark and depressing, but poignant and heartwarming. The first story, titled, ‘Six Feet Duur’ is already up on her Instagram. And it’s all that Tahira promises it to be.
If there’s one person who knows how to come out of a situation fighting fit, it is Tahira, what with her much-talked-about fight with the big C, from which she emerged, stronger and prouder.
