Critically acclaimed Tamil film ‘Parole‘ is finally out on streaming on Simply South. The film theatrically released on 11th November to positive critical reception mainly for its taut writing. The film was streaming on Simply South already from December 2nd onwards and the latest news is that it will stream on Amazon Prime Video as well. The streamer announced that ‘Parole’ will stream on the platform from tomorrow, i.e. 9th December onwards.
Parole is a crime drama and also a thriller that revolves around the life of brothers Kovalan and Karikalan. Karikalan, a criminal is serving jail-time for the crimes he has committed. Karikalan and Kovalan’s mother passes away when Karikalan is serving his jail-time. Will Karikalan come out of jail for his mother’s last rites and will he reunite with Kovalan forms the crux of the story. The film did not perform well at the theatres, but is expected to gain more viewers once out on Amazon Prime Video as well.
Written and directed by Dwarakh Raj, who is known for Kadhal Kasakuthaiya (2016), Parole Features Linga, R. S. Karthik, Kalpika Ganesh and Monisha Murali in lead roles. The film will stream on Amazon Prime Video from December 9th onwards and is already streaming on Simply South from December 2nd.
