Tamil film ‘Paramporul’ is a crime thriller that hit theatres on 1st September, 2023. The film received praise from critics and audiences, who lauded the premise, performances, visuals, and direction of Paramporul. The film failed to make a mark at the box office, owing to its release with two big films, Kick and Kushi.

The ‘Paramporul’ OTT release date is 24th October, 2023, and the film will release simultaneously on Aha Tamil and Prime Video India.
Tamil film Paramporul centres on a young man Aadhi (Amitash Pradhan), who desperately needs money to save his dying sister. He comes into contact with corrupt police officer Mythreyan (R. Sarathkumar), and the two get into the illegal idol trade, which leads to chaos and mayhem in his life.
The film is written and directed by debutant, C. Aravind Raj. It is produced by debutant production banner, Kavi Creations. Besides R. Sarathkumar and Amitash Pradhan, Paramporul stars Kashmira Pardeshi, Balaji Sakthivel and T. Siva in pivotal roles.
