Sivakarthikeyan’s Tamil film ‘Prince‘ hit theatres on 21 October, 2022, as a Diwali release. The film failed to set the cash registers ringing at the box office, despite its engaging premise and interesting star cast. Now that it’s almost a month since ‘Prince’ released in theatres, the film is all set to begin streaming on OTT.
We at Binged have got you confirmed information on the ‘Prince’ OTT release date and OTT platform. The post-theatrical streaming rights of ‘Prince’ have been grabbed by streaming behemoth, Disney Plus Hotstar. The Tamil romantic comedy will hence stream only on Disney Plus Hotstar and on no other platform.
As for the OTT release date of ‘Prince’, the film will release on OTT on 25th November, 2022. This means the film is arriving on streaming five weeks after its theatrical release, which is more than the normal four weeks of an exclusive theatrical window that is the norm for movies from the South film industries.
‘Prince’ is a Tamil rom-com, directed by Anudeep KV and produced by Suniel Narang, D. Suresh Babu, and Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao, under their banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Suresh Productions. The music of ‘Prince’ is composed by Thaman S.
The film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Maria Ryaboshapka and Sathyaraj. ‘Prince’ centres on a teacher from Pondicherry, who falls in love with a British teacher from his school, which attracts opposition from the community members of his town. Maria Ryaboshapka is a Ukrainian actress, who made her debut in the Indian entertainment industry with the Disney Plus Hotstar show, Special Ops 1.5.
