Tamil film ‘Raid’ centres on an upright police officer, who takes on the dangerous gangs operating in his city. A personal loss compels him to single-handedly hunt down and finish off the entire gang. The film stars Vikram Prabhu, Sri Divya, Ananthika Sanilkumar and Rishi Rithvik in pivotal roles, along with Soundararaja, Daniel Annie Pope, and Selva, among others.
Raid is written and directed by Karthi in his directorial debut. Duniya Soori, writer of the original Kannada film ‘Tagaru’, is credited with the story of ‘Raid’. Sam C. S. has composed the music for the film.
