After its theatrical run Tamil social drama film ‘Rail’ is now set for its world digital premiere on Aha Video. Helmed by Bhaskar Sakthi, ‘Rail’ will premiere on Aha Video on 2nd August, 2024.
Set in a rapidly urbanizing village, ‘Rail’ follows Muthiah, an electrician-turned-habitual drinker who struggles with his marriage and work. His hatred for North Indian workers leads to conflict with his neighbor, Sunil. Tragedy, guilt and kindness ultimately transform Muthiah’s outlook on life.
Upon its release in cinemas ‘Rail’ received mixed reviews. While the performances are decent, it’s the storyline and the character arcs that seem flawed. The film feels predictable and and monotonous with not much exciting happening.
Written and directed by Bhaskar Sakthi, ‘Rail’ stars Kungumaraj Muthusamy, Parvaiz Maharoo, Vairamala, Senthil Kochadai, Shameera and Ramesh Vaidya. Produced by M. Vediayappan, ‘Rail’ will premiere on Aha Video on 2nd August, 2024.
