The Tamil horror thriller ‘Demon’ will soon Have its OTT premiere. It will be available to watch on Aha Tamil from the 24th of November this year.
‘Demon’ is written and directed by filmmaker Ramesh Pazhaniivel and produced by R. Somasundaram. It was the debut feature for Ramesh Pazhaniivel. The movie tells the story of Vivnesh Shivan, a young filmmaker who comes to a new building to complete his script. He is repeatedly haunted by terrible nightmares. He keeps thinking about the dreams and the weird events that continue to take place inside the dreams and reveal secrets about the building. This worrying and overthrowing leaves Vignesh in a very troubled mental state which he has to deal with alone. There are not many movies made in India that are based on the topic of dreams and nightmares and the effect that they have on our mental state.
The movie got negative to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. It had its theatrical release on the 22nd of September this year. The film starred actors like Sachin Mani, Abarnathi, Suruthi Periyasamy and many others. Sachin’s performance in the film was appreciated. The music of the movie is composed by Ronnie Raphael.
The movie is longer than two hours and if you are a horror fan, you might try it. It will not be bad for a one time watch though there are some loopholes and problems in the film.
Demon will be available to watch on Aha from the 24th of November.
